What I've been up to
Data Analyst/Frontend Engineer @ John Deere
October 2018 - May 2019
In this position I revamped the legacy dealer locator application with modern technologies and UX. I worked closely on an in-house chatbot and managed various scripts for web analytics and tracking.
Projects I have worked on
Featured Project
Cascade GardensI utilized Svelte to create a brochureesque website using an amazing framework that ships an incredibly lightweight package to the user. With server side rendering and best practices the weight of the website practically disappears.
- Svelte
- CSS
- Tachyons
- Rollup
- Maps
- JavaScript
Featured Project
Global Dealer LocatorMy first enterprise project was a revamp and refactor of an already existing tool to locate John Deere dealers around the world. I refactored a large amount of jQuery and CSS to achieve performance and UX quick wins before a major rebuild slated for 2021.
- JavaScript
- CSS
- JSP
- Jenkins

Featured Project
Quick SaleThe last project I worked on involved bootstrapping and researching a crossplatform application that John Deere could use to quickly quote and invoice customers from a phone. The application invloved scanning and parsing drivers licences as well as integrating with already existing sale center API's. This is a proprietary unpublished project of John Deere.
- JavaScript
- CSS
- React Native
- Redux
Other Projects
Bork Bork Bork
One of the first websites I ever built by myself from scratch. I built this to demonstrate my understanding of asynchronous calls and redux.
Meme Machine
This is a fun showcase of the Svelte framework. I created a simple gif aggregator based of the defined search term.
